1853

Established in 1853 as The Crown before being reconstructed in 1908 to The Court House Hotel; The Courty has the towns oldest continuous licence. Whilst in recent years, the pub has been renovated and modernised, the historic charm has been preserved. From artwork, architectural statements including glass block windows and the bar, there are still prominent elements of the pubs charm and history.

Placed just before the roundabout, onlooking onto the centre of the street with other historic buildings, The Courty has always been the heart of the town.
