As the Courty is a major sponsor of the Boorowa Rovers Rugby League team, the inaugural Ack Weyman Memorial Shield takes us down to Moruya to play. The captain coach of the Rovers is Acks nephew Alex Stewart who has also played for the Sharkies.

2023 ACDS Australian CDE Championships hosted by the Ellmore Driving Club Inc Friday 7th April - Driven Dressage Elegance Saturday 8th April - Marathon with Obstacles Sunday 9th April - Cones Course Precision and Speed, hosted at the Boorowa Showground.

Come and enjoy a day of country racing at its best at Boorowa Amateur Picnic Race Club. The Club strives to maintain the family orientated atmosphere of the day. A very long-standing tradition. Over the years we have had very generous support from our many sponsors which has helped greatly in attracting strong fields and we appreciate their support. With kick ons at the Courty with live music and a restrictive menu, it’s an excellent night!
Boorowa Picnic Races
OCTOBER
Boorowa is world-renowned for its fine Merino wool. Creating a Wool Week event in the late 1990s seemed like a great way to showcase the beautiful wool from the region. A whole week was dedicated to this event with wool shows, wool workshops, shearing displays, and much more all around the town. After a couple of years, it was decided that to make it a truly spectacular event the community would condense it to a one-day festival when the street would be closed to traffic. This gave it more impact with all festivities located up and down the main street. Thereby was born the Woolfest. It is a great day out for all the family, lots of food and entertainment.
As a sponsor of the ‘running of the sheep’, The Courty plays a key role in the festive weekend, with lots of events on at the pub including special menus and live music.
